Corrections and complaints
If you believe an article contains a factual error, is misleading or raises an editorial concern, email info@thebritishbanner.co.uk, or use our Contact page, with the subject “Correction or complaint”. Include the article link, the passage you are concerned about, what you believe is wrong and any supporting source.
Please do not send passwords, financial details or unnecessary sensitive personal information. A correction request is not published automatically.
How we handle a concern
Football News UK Ltd (company number 12060029, registered in England and Wales), the operator of The British Banner, is responsible for reviewing editorial concerns. The review considers the article and the evidence supplied. We may ask for clarification, consult the original sources and seek a response from people involved. We distinguish a factual error from disagreement with a clearly labelled opinion, while checking the factual claims on which that opinion relies.
We aim to deal with concerns promptly. We do not promise a fixed response time for every editorial complaint. Privacy and data-rights requests are handled separately under the Privacy notice and applicable deadlines.
What readers see
For a significant factual correction, the article carries a dated note explaining what was wrong and what changed. A developing story may instead receive an update labelled as new information. We do not disguise a material correction as an ordinary update.
If an article must be withdrawn, we explain the reason where it is safe and lawful to do so. An apology is added where appropriate. Minor spelling or layout fixes that do not change meaning need not carry a separate note.
If you remain concerned
Reply to the response, identify what remains unresolved and provide any further evidence. Do not assume a complaint has been escalated to an external regulator: we make no claim of regulator membership on this page.
