How the free trial works
Supporter starts with 3 months free. You enter your PayPal details at the start, and nothing is charged until the three months are up. After that, £3 a month (or £30 a year, if you choose yearly) is taken until you cancel.
You can cancel at any time in your PayPal account, under automatic payments. If you cancel before the trial ends you will not be charged at all.
There is no paywall. Every article stays free to read for everyone, and comments stay free for signed-in members. Prices are in pounds sterling. Payments are handled by PayPal; we never see your card or PayPal password.
